As you can see, he
has put together excellent stats for his last 2 seasons. He
played for one of most prestigious baseball magnet high schools
in Japan which lost against the team that eventually became the
national champ in 2004 (the score was 3 to 2).
As a batter, he is an all-round player that
could hit with power or could go opposite field when it is
called for. Of his 5 HRs, 2 of them flew out of the stadium that
indicates his solid power and ability to hit hard. And other two
were grand slams that indicate his concentration and clutch
hitting ability.
He was considered one of the best prospects
from the freshman year. Upon becoming the junior, he became
unquestionable starting shortstop of the team.
He is dedicated, works hard, and competitive.
